A moist, rich, chocolatey cake which takes no time or skill! 

For nut free, swap the peanut butter for mashed banana.


  • 110g Self-Raising Flour
  • 40g Cocoa Powder
  • 40g Brown Sugar
  • 1 TSP Baking Powder
  • 1/2 TSP Salt
  • 80g Peanut Butter
  • 2 TBSP Maple Syrup
  • 100g Plant-Yogurt (e.g. Alpro Plain Soya Yogurt)
  • 120ml Water
  • 2 TSP Vanilla Essence


Pre-heat oven to 180 C / 350 F

  • Add dry ingredients to a large bowl and thoroughly combine.
  • Add wet ingredients and thoroughly combine.
  • Place into an 8” loaf tin
  • Bake for 25-30 mins. (A knife should come out ‘clean’ when you test it is cooked through)
