Description

A firm favourite with my family ~ sweet and fruity, with a crunchy base. Great for lunchboxes, pic-nics, or at home as a dessert. We love to have our with a dollop of Vegan cream or yogurt. Yum!

Ingredients

Base:

  • 175g Oats
  • 70g Oat Flour
  • 90g Almond Flour
  • 110g Apple Sauce
  • 60g Maple Syrup
  • 45g Vegan Plain Yoghurt
  • 2 TSP Baking Powder

 

Topping:

  • 350g Fresh Strawberries
  • 50g Maple Syrup
  • 2 TSP Lime Juice
  • 4 TSP Chia Seeds
  • 2 TSP Cornstarch

Instructions

  • Add all of the topping ingredients to a saucepan, simmer for about 10 mins, stirring regularly.
  • Add all of the BASE ingredients toa large bowl, mix well. Press them into a lined baking tray. Add the strawberry mixture, and bake in the oven for around 25 mins on 180.
  • Allow to cool.
  • Slice and Serve!
